It is highly recommended to add a 6-mil plastic moisture barrier over a concrete subfloor to prevent future moisture issues from the slab. Even if test results are within manufacturer standards, tests only show moisture levels at the time of testing. Future humidity levels cannot be predicted and may cause flooring issues such as buckling.
Professional Installation Required
All Silent Blue LVP products must be installed by a professional installer. Installation by an unqualified person will void the manufacturer’s warranty. Each product includes an attached underlayment — do not add additional underlayment as excess cushion compromises the locking mechanism.
